Lord of the Ring

So he popped the question with handmade rings in his pocket.
Flutter. Flutter.
Only problem was that they didnt fit.
But to be honest, it was such a treat!
We returned from our trip and went to the woodshop the very next morning.
We made a new ring together, from scratch.
Well, he actually MADE it, i made MOVIES of it!
It was so much fun and what a better project to work on together..than a symbol for the rest of our lives.
And to all my girls out there, yes, i couldnt help but feel a little like the end of the story changed...where it was actually Aidan in the end afterall...

White Hallways/ Black Clothing

Like a maze
The Armory
treats down some halls
dead beats down another
but nonetheless, a feeling of freedom in the air
celebrating the simple act of expression
an act that will always avoid the final curtain call

Love this Ryan McGinley image.
Loved it before I knew it was his.
Loved it even more because he surprises in ways that are not surprising, and yet I'm always taken aback.

And a polaroid of a polaroid by Andre Kertesz
Using the same camera he did, 30 years apart...i paid a small tribute.

Happy arting.
